HOW SCANYSIS ENGAGES
Two ways to begin with Scanysis.
There are two ways to begin a relationship with Scanysis: Talk to Scanysis and Scanysis Sales. Both begin by understanding the organization and the work in front of it; they differ in how that first interaction is structured and how much of the engagement Scanysis brings into the conversation from the outset.
You can begin with a conversation, or provide the context for a direct business engagement. Neither route requires you to have every answer figured out.

Talk to Scanysis
Start with a conversation.
Talk to Scanysis is a conversation-first way to begin.
Once you request an onboarding meeting, you'll be able to schedule a 20-30 minute conversation with Scanysis. The purpose of this conversation is simply to understand the situation before deciding what, if anything, should happen next.
The conversation is about the organization, the project or situation, the objectives, the circumstances around it, and the significance of the problem or opportunity. It gives Scanysis an opportunity to understand the context in your own words, ask the questions that matter, and understand what you're trying to accomplish.
There is no pitch, product presentation, proposed solution, or attempt to sell an engagement during the conversation. The first objective is understanding.
What happens during the conversation?
The conversation typically covers:
- The organizationWhat the organization does, how it operates, and the context surrounding the work.
- The situationWhat has brought you to Scanysis, what is changing, and what is currently happening.
- The project or objectiveWhat you're trying to accomplish, what you are considering, and what a successful outcome would mean.
- The circumstancesThe factors surrounding the situation - including its importance, urgency, complexity, constraints, and potential consequences.
- The directionWhere things currently stand and whether there is enough context to determine a sensible next step.
The conversation does not require a prepared brief or a finished scope. You can explain the situation as you understand it today.
How long does it take?
Typically 20-30 minutes.
That is intended to be enough time for a meaningful first conversation without turning the meeting into a presentation or a formal discovery exercise.
The objective is not to fill an hour. It is to understand enough to know what should happen next.
What happens afterwards?
There may be a reason to continue with Scanysis, there may be a need for further clarification, or there may simply not be a meaningful engagement at that point.
The conversation itself does not commit either side to an engagement.
Talk to Scanysis starts with understanding, not selling.
What happens through Direct Connect?
When you select Direct Connect, the information you provide through the Sales intake becomes the starting context for the engagement.
Scanysis can use that context to determine the people who should be involved in the initial interaction - which may include consultants, product teams, professionals, or other relevant experts.
The intention is to avoid making an organization repeat its situation to a generic first point of contact before the people who can meaningfully contribute become involved.
What should you provide?
The Sales intake gives you space to tell Scanysis about:
- The organizationWho you are and the organization you represent.
- The businessThe context Scanysis should understand before approaching the project.
- The scaleRelevant organizational scale and, where you choose to provide it, financial context.
- The projectWhat you're looking to accomplish, what is changing, and what success would look like.
- The timingWhere the project currently stands and when you are considering beginning.
- Supporting materialRFPs, RFQs, scopes, architecture, process documentation, presentations, or other material that can help Scanysis arrive prepared.
- ProcurementAny formal procurement process, deadlines, registration requirements, or other commercial considerations that may affect the engagement.
You can provide as much context as you have. A complete solution is not a prerequisite for contacting Scanysis.
The first interaction
Direct Connect is designed so that the first interaction can begin with context already in place.
Rather than treating the initial interaction as a generic sales call, Scanysis can prepare the appropriate people around the organization, project, and objectives described in the intake.
The nature and duration of that interaction will depend on the project and the people involved. It may be a conversation about the work, a deeper examination of the situation, or the beginning of a more substantive engagement.
There is no predetermined presentation or product demonstration that every organization is taken through.
The project determines the conversation.

Scanysis Sales
Begin a direct business engagement.
Scanysis Sales is the direct business route into Scanysis.
Instead of beginning with a general conversation, you provide Scanysis with the context of your organization and the work you're considering through the Sales intake.
That information allows Scanysis to understand the business, project, objectives, timing, organizational scale, procurement environment, and any supporting material before the first interaction.
The difference is not that you need to arrive with a perfectly defined solution.
The difference is that Scanysis can prepare around the context you provide.
When is Direct Connect useful?
Direct Connect is designed for situations where providing context in advance is useful - whether that context comes from a defined project, an existing scope, a formal procurement process, an implementation under consideration, or a business situation that requires several areas of expertise to be considered together.
Two ways to begin. Not two levels of service.
Talk to Scanysis and Scanysis Sales are different starting points, not different levels of engagement.
Talk begins with a short conversation and gives Scanysis the opportunity to understand the organization and situation before determining whether there is a meaningful next step.
Sales begins with a structured intake and gives Scanysis the context required to prepare for a direct business engagement.
A conversation can lead to an engagement. A direct business engagement can begin through Sales without a preliminary onboarding conversation.
The route determines how the relationship begins, not what Scanysis can ultimately do.
